Enhanced SEND Offer (for NQT's, RQT's & SEND Support Staff from mainstream settings)

iTSA recognises the need to fully equip those who are new to the teaching profession; or those supporting pupils with SEND, in meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities so that they are fully included within a mainstream setting.

Running alongside any additional NQT/RQT/Support Staff programmes which participants may already be completing with other providers, our enhanced SEND offer aims to provide more specialist knowledge, skills and understanding of meeting the needs of pupils with SEND.

Structured through a series of six twilights (one per half term) practitioners will leave with a range of effective and creative teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies to begin to meet the needs of pupils with SEND in their own classroom . In addition, we offer the option for participants to spend time in a special school setting should this further benefit their own professional development (release costs are to be covered by own school).
